Yritysyhteistyö Yritysten edustajien haastatteluja käytetään opetusmateriaalina. Tekoälysovellusten käyttö Tekoälytyökaluja voi kokeilla omatoimisesti tehtävien suorittamisessa ja vertaisarvioinnissa, mutta opiskelija on aina itse vastuussa lopputuloksen laadusta.

Aihepiireinä ovat analytiikassa tarvittavat työkalut, datasettien hallinta, raakadatan käsittely ja tulosten esittäminen. Opiskelu on pääasiassa itsenäistä työskentelyä SAS oppimisympäristössä.

This course combines theoretical perspectives on innovation platforms, innovation ecosystems, and related concepts with the fundamentals of academic writing (including principles of academic writing, referencing and citation practices, writing as a process, and the structure of academic texts). The course helps students structure their thesis work and supports steady progress. Teacher feedback offers constructive guidance for reflection and the development of academic writing skills. Course also provides a supportive environment for discussing research issues relevant to the master’s thesis.

Through interactive lectures, flipped-classroom seminars, and a collaborative course project, the course addresses the following themes: Performance measurement and management in organizations Management of digital transformation (interplay between strategy, measures, technologies) Technological impact and its management (incl. effectiveness, productivity, wellbeing)

This project-based course supports doctoral researchers in transforming their scientific work into viable business ventures. Participants will work on their own research project, startup idea, or Research-to-Business (R2B) initiative. Through workshops, hands-on exercises, and feedback sessions, students will iteratively develop their venture ideas and prepare investor-ready presentations. Key topics include: · Technology–market matching · Business model innovation · Customer profiling and value creation · Value chain and ecosystem analysis, stakeholder mapping · Financial planning and commercialization strategy Investor pitching and venture readiness

This course introduces doctoral researchers to entrepreneurial mindset and various career pathways from research to impact. Participants will explore how scientific ideas can evolve into market-ready innovations, learn to evaluate commercialization potential of their own research ideas and/or projects, and understand the processes, challenges, and opportunities of science-based value creation and capture. Toimitusketjun strategioiden ja prosessien analyysejä sisältäen seuraavia kokonaisuuksia: Yrityksen kilpailustrategiat toimitusketjun johtamisen näkökulmasta. Liiketoimintaympäristön, kilpailutekijöiden ja toimitusketjun prosessien erilaiset analyysit. Toimitusketjujen arkkityypit. Toimitusketjun, tuotannon ja varastojen ohjaamisen teoriaperiaatteita eri tilanteissa. Toimitusketjun valintojen strateginen yhteensopivuus ja kehittämismahdollisuuksien tunnistaminen. Tekoälysovellusten käyttö: Tekoälyn käytöstä tehtävissä noudatetaan yliopiston yleisiä periaatteita ja ohjeistetaan tarvittaessa tarkemmin kurssin aikana. Tekoälyn käyttöä alalla arvioidaan tapauskohtaisesti sisältöjen yhteydessä.

The basic concept and scope of supply chain management in a company, basic methods of inventory control and analysis, basics of production control, material management in procurement and distribution, role of demand forecasting in supply chain management, SCM problems, supply chain performance measurement and financial impact assessment.

Lean-ajattelun perusteet: Hukka, Imuohjaus, Lean perustyökalut (5S, A3, SOP, 5Why, WhiteBoard Meeting, Six Sigma, VSM). Tiimien valmentava johtaminen. Visuaalinen ohjaus teollisessa ympäristössä.

The course aims to provide methodological support and clear guidelines to master students on how to conduct research in management and how to report its results. The course consists of lectures and seminars. Topics include but not limited to formulating and clarifying the research topics, reviewing the literature, understanding research philosophies and approaches, formulating research design and choosing research methods, collecting and analyzing quantitative and qualitative data, and writing research reports and presenting the results. Research reports, seminar presentations, quizzes, and individual learning diaries are essential parts of course evaluation.
